Let’s play The Weighting Game ! Your goal is to place the following five vehicles in order of lightest standard curb weight to heaviest using your best guesses! Tonight includes the Colorado, Tacoma, 4-Series, G80, and XF. I won’t give out the answer unless asked, but I’ll tell you how many are in the correct 1-5 position. See how close you can get!

XF is the lightest

then the Bimmer

then the Tacoma

then the Hyundai

I think the Colorado would be the heaviest given the diesel stuff and whatnot

Well that’s a weird decision to make! You’d be stuck with five out of five in the correct spots if you did that...boring!

I guess that all makes sense. The XF is aluminum and RWD, the BMW is fairly small, Tacomas are fairly light, the Colorado is both a 4-cylinder and a short bed, and those Hyundais weight so much it’s not funny. Also, I just learned that the 2.8 in the Colorado is a derivative of the VM Motori engine shared with the Lancia Voyager (rebadged Town and Country).

I’m gonna say:

I originally had the Jag as the lightest, but then I realized it was the XF. Even though the G80 is big, I still think it’s lighter than the Colorado /Tacoma.

Now off to check the figures!
